One Week Old!
Hard to believe but Eden will be one week old as of 5:28 pm today. It has gone by in a blink. We came home from the hospital late Sunday evening and have been getting used to life with a baby ever since. In the last week I've had two stretches of 24+ hours without sleep, something I don't think I've ever experienced before, even in college. (What can I say, I like to sleep.) Overall though things are going very well. My mom arrived on Wednesday and is staying with us for a week. She has been a huge help - I don't know what I'd do without her.

She is SO BEAUTIFUL!!!! I wish we could see her and hold her and love all over her!! We are just going to have to come out and see you guys as soon as we can. We love you all!!

Thanks for more pictures! She has changed in just a week and its awesome getting to see it (even just through pictures). Those pea pods grow up so fast (sigh). =)
Love the one of Peter holding her - you can really get a sense of how tall she is. It looks like she can give Peter a bear hug already.
i agree with laura on the tall thing (actually, i agree with everybody that eden's beautiful, too!). my first thought was, 'whoa. peter is a long-torsoed friend--that's a tall nugget!)
those weidlocher genes are still as strong as ever. it's written all over her face. :)
