Comment Away!

Okay, so I just figured out how to change the settings on this blog so that anyone can post a comment - you no longer have to sign up for a Google account! (Sorry I figured this out a bit too late for you, mom - hope it wasn't too much trouble.) Of course, if I start getting a lot of spam-type comments or crazies, I reserve the right to revert to the previous settings. I get enough of that (the crazies, anyway) at work. If you remember though, please choose the Name/URL option (you don't actually have to enter anything into the URL field) instead of the Anonymous option when commenting. I'd like to know who is saying what as much as possible - makes it easier to spot the troublemakers. :)

P.S. I did this just for you, Leida. :)

Steph you did this just in time! I was just trying to remember my old google/blogger account password. Who knows what it is - I can't remember and now I don't have to. You're so wonderful.

I would suggest tweaking it so that you have to "approve" the comments (you'll get them to your email and you OK them). It's under settings or something. I had a friend get a random comment from some guy in India, kind of freaked her out a bit. Just a thought :)

Yeah, that's just the kind of thing I was hoping to avoid - thanks for the tip!

Thanks for the info. I'll see if this works. By the way, I'm still waiting for pictures. :)

What did you think of Brad's snow pics and videos? I'm taking for granted that he sent them.

Hey Stephanie! Congrats on the job (and the pregnancy, since I haven't congratulated you about that, either). I'm really excited for you to be able to do something you enjoy -- that's what it is all about. Remember when you walked up and down the stairs in Kirksville with me, trying to get Emma to decide to enter the world? In the freezing northern Missouri temps? All I'm saying is, if you needed me to, I would be willing to brave the Southern California weather to help you walk your baby out. That's the kind of friend I am.

Love you guys!

Sara - Hey, I would take you up on that! Thanks for the congrats!

Leida - Well, if you sent a text message it would have gone to Peter's phone which means I probably never heard about it. But with my super-pregnant power to forget anything and everything, Pete might have told me 10 times and I would still say, "Nope. Doesn't sound familiar..." So I'll just accept the congratulations now and say thank you very much!

Sara and Leida - Remember when you came out to visit when we first moved here? You need to do that again.
